About Me

Having won my first rosette at 4 years old and pretty much grown up in the saddle I was very keen on working with horses however with no obvious career path ahead of me I instead opted to study at the University of Surrey.  Following my graduation I travelled and worked in Australia and there met my first horse dentist whilst working on a ranch.  As a child I remember the farrier doing my horses teeth but times have clearly moved on!  The equine dentist ignited my interest in equine dentistry and from there I haven’t looked back.

I attended the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho, USA in 1999 to initially learn my trade and have continued to study and learn over the years.  I have also passed the highly regarded BEVA/BVDA dentistry exam and am a full member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT ).

I strongly believe in providing the best dentistry care to each and every client whether they are race horses or small ponies, and that in doing so can enhance and benefit their lives.  In order to provide the highest standard of equine dentistry I aim to keep the horse as calm and relaxed as possible which makes the whole experience more pleasurable all round.  I am very passionate about my work and thoroughly enjoy being able to help a wide spectrum of different horses every day.

I still regularly ride my horse when time allows and enjoy nothing more than having fun with my three young boys and their ponies.
